Valentine's Day Gifts
This is of a rose and some chocolates that my husband got me for Valentine's Day this year. Unfortunately, I did not take the pictures right away so the rose is not as fresh as it once was. I opted to use natural light to the back and bounce flash off the ceiling from the side to achieve the shadows on the rose.

Winter Snow

Macro Snowflakes
Taken during the great Blizzard of 2011. Not the greatest picture ever, but I really loved the way this snowflake and the other two all looked.
